After many years at the studio on 326 Oak Street, children’s danceworks now has a new location! All classes will be held at the Eleanor Bliss Center for the Arts at the Depot, located on 13^th Street. This is a wonderful space where Wendy took Ballet, Modern, Jazz and African classes when she first moved to Steamboat in the mid-1980’s! It is the home of the Steamboat Springs Arts Council

of which children’s danceworks has been a long time affiliate.

The Winter Session will begin the week of January 9^th and run for 6 weeks ending February 17 just before the Blues Break vacation week.

Please note that Kids Kabin Preschool (on the schedule for Mondays) will be alternating Mondays and Thursdays each week. Other schools will be added soon. Feel free to contact Wendy if your school is interested in a class slot. Also note that the Girlz Hip Hop class time COULD change to 4:30 – 5:30 IF the Boyz class does not go. If a class time does not work out for your schedule and you have interest in Winter classes, please contact Wendy as sometimes additional classes can be added to the schedule with enough interest.

 

Please register now to insure your child’s space in class. Tuition will not be due until the first class. Please see rates below (and also on the class schedule).

If your child has missed any classes this fall, they may do make-ups during the Winter Session whether or not they are enrolled. My make-up policy is that you can make up missed classes in another class during the current session or in the session following. Please just let me know when your child will be attending for a make-up.

 

TUITION RATES FOR THE 2012 WINTER SESSION:

45 minute class: $ 75.00

1 hour class: $ 80.00

 

Tuition is not due until the first class the week of January 9. As I did this fall, you may pay 1/2 in January and 1/2 in February if that helps budget-wise. Please remember that scholarship funding is available through the Steamboat Dance Theatre for students of any age with financial hardship to study dance. Applications may be found online, along with the application deadlines, at   www.steamboatdancetheatre.org

The next application deadline is December 31rst so you will need to apply SOON if interested.

 

Modern Dance for Adults and Modern Jazz for Pre-Teens – Teens will also be offered during the Winter Session through DANCEWORKS. On Mondays there is also a Dance Workout Class!
